Lo que he podido leer es que fue creada por unos argentinos... quienes decidieron no continuar el proyecto...
Sin embargo, al parecer han cedido el desarrollo a una comunidad de Torrents llama YTS... quienes han vuelto a
poner a disponibilidad del publico la aplicación en el sitio http://www.time4popcorn.eu/

... bajando y a probar...

Si convence... adios Netflix y Play Movies...

resulta que cerraron el proyecto porque los desarrolladores recibieron amenazas de copyright.

Pues esta interesante, lo único que todavía tiene sus fallos, lógico cuando ves que es una beta, a veces cuando le das al botón de "Watch it now" no pasa nada, pero la verdad es q la calidad de las películas esta excelente... eso si, necesitas una buena conexión o sino x gusto. La presentación de los subs necesita un pequeño ajuste pero de ahí todo bn

ya lo probe, y lo mlo, se traban mucho, solo estan en ingles, y subtitulos, no me gusto, no lo recomiendo,

al menos que te guste ver pelis solo en ingles. y con subtitulos esta bien.

ademas si no se tiene una buena coneccion a internet.

se traba mucho:  contratá internet mas rápido, a mi me va volando con Claro 2Mb
sólo está en inglés: que culpa del programa que no sepás inglés? además:
Subtítulos: Si tiene, que mas queres si ya que nunca aprendiste inglés, pues eso te toca pajarito.
Y porque no te gustó no lo recomendás, en base a cosas inherentes a vos, a mirá que chivo. No pos gran review que te hechaste.

Por ahi hay quienes dice que les topa el CPU, pues supongo que Pentiums II las ha de topar bastante, en la mia me va de pelos, picos de 20% cpu y de ahi <10%

anoche/hoy en la manana me salio que tenia un update desde entonces ya no me topa el cpu y hoy anda bien aunque aveces se pone lagoso el programa
 pero al japi no le abunda para verlo de corrido desde el principio asi que lo dejo precargar....

fijense que me esta pasando algo, chivo vi wolverine y todo super fluido hasta con buffer extra en la carga

me pongo a ver skyfall y todo cargando bien pero la babosada se detiene a cada rato, como que hiciera buffering, pero el buffer va como 10 minutos adelantado D: que pedos ahi? tiene monton para reproducir y aun asi se lagea, será algo de la red? o q

Lo que hice fue: cerrar todo el browser, cerre steam y pausé mi antivirus y ya no era tan frecuente, no se si fue efecto placebo o que pero funcionó

En su moment logre probar popcorn time, y tenía un soporte de subtitulo increíble.  Igual espero pronto una versión para Android.

Vamos a darle una oportunidad a esta nueva versión.

Pues revisando un poco el codigo, yo creo que la app para Android solo sera una especie de control remoto para la aplicacion desktop.

yo me encontre con un par de peliculas que no tenian subs en esp....
lo chivo que podes cargar tus propios subs pero esta pisado encontrar cabal los que sincronizen con ese archivo en particular =p

Esto basicamente son torrent que ves en el momento, y si no hay ningun seed? o lo tendran en algun seedbox

ahi  te sale un icono de health que te indica si hay o no seeds... si sale en verde dale con todo sino es probable que sea lento....

Está chivo hasta ayer lo probé y vi una pelicula

Sin embargo a veces me pasa que le doy a una pelicula se pone una barrita de buffering y luego se queda idle como procesando y allí se queda, también el otro problema es que las peliculas no tan comunes no está en buen estado el torrent.

Pero pues no hay de que quejarse es gratis y esta bueno para los que no vemos tanta pelicula y no queremos pagar una cuenta de netflix

A mi me ah funcionado bien lo unico que a veces si pasa eso que se detiene la pelicula aun cuando el buffer va adelante no se que problema sera.

El finde me pongo a ver "Anchorman 2"...por cierto me surre de la risa.
Yo de dundo, me trague la paja de que la aplicacion traia VPN, y el lunes me llegua un correo de Copyright Infringement de mi ISP...

Pregunta... como sabian tu correo si solo tenian tu ip?

El correo lo recibi por parte de mi ISP (Telus).

Por cierto en parte del correo aclaran...

Yo vi la opcion de vpn pero se tiene que activar creo, eso del correo estas fuera del salvador? porque yo lo eh usado con ISP TIGO y nada :s Telus busque en google es un ISP pero sabia que aqui en el pais es un call center
