Deshabilitar puerto HDMI de una tarjeta desde la bios

Creo que el titulo lo dice todo, ¿se puede desabilitar puerto HDMI de una tarjeta de video desde la bios? de ser posible, ¿comó lo hago?

desde la BIOS no creo que se pueda es mas hasta ahorita en las tarjetas que eh visto nunca eh visto esa opcion desde la BIOS talvez desde la interfaz de la VGA pero para que lo queres hacer? no sale mas facil no ocuparlo y ya digo...

para que queres desahabilitar ese puerto? si en realidad tenerlo activo o no no influye en el rendimiento final, inlcuso aunque lo tengas en la mobo, y estes usando card dedicada, automaticamente la gpu q usaras sera la dedicada no el integrado

Basicamente es porque estoy teniendo un problema de incompatibilidad entre mi mobo y la tarjeta de video, y a alguien que le estaba pasando el mismo problema con una tarjeta de la misma serie le sugirieron lo siguiente:

Problema:

I have assembled a new system around the GTX 470 card, and am having trouble getting the card to work after installing the video driver (either from the disc that came with the card or the latest one from the EVGA site).  Here's the configuration:

    EVGA GTX 470 (012-P3-1472-RR), with DVI-to-VGA adapter installed (one monitor only)
    ASUS Sabertooth X58 Motherboard, with Gulftown i7-970 CPU and 24GB DDR3
    Antec TruePower Quattro 1000W power supply (TPQ-1000)
    Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit - fresh install on an empty new hard disk

Booting the system and installing Windows 7, the card works just fine in low resolution.  But after I install the NVIDA driver from the included disc, or after I install the latest driver from the EVGA site), the system boots past the "Starting Windows" animated graphic and then the video signal is lost (black screen, monitor goes into power-save mode and never wakes up).  I can tell that the system is booting, based on the drive accesses.  Just no video.  I can boot to safe mode, and remove the NVIDIA driver, and can boot normally in low resolution.  But as soon as I install the NVIDIA driver, I can't get past the "Starting Windows" animation without losing the video signal permanently.
 
The system RAM tests out fine.  I have added up all the amps on all four 12V rails of the power supply; each of the four outputs is supposed to have 25A.  I've tried connecting different combinations of 12V outputs to the card, but always get the same result.  I've connected the card to two separate rails.  Doesn't seem to make a difference in the behavior.   I have not overclocked anything.
 
I'm sure I must be missing something fundamental here.  I don't have a lot of experience with these newer GPUs, so forgive my innocence/ignorance.  Any assistance would be much appreciated.  Thanks.

I think the card is booting on the DVI/VGA output, but then switching to the HDMI output for windows.

I had this trouble with my Gtx295's.
Since my monitor has Both an Hdmi and Vga input ,I hooked them both up, and just switch between them for bios, or the O.S .
 
Im surprised Evga didnt suggest this...LOL.

Solucion:

Well, I want to thank you very much for your advice about trying a DVI-based monitor instead of my old VGA monitor.  That just solved the problem.  As soon as I plugged in the new monitor (an HP 2310m) via the DVI connector directly (no VGA converter), the system booted just find all the way to the Windows desktop, running the latest NVIDIA driver.  So, nearly a month of frustration is over now.  If someone else is experiencing the loss of video signal just after the Windows 7 "starting windows" logo animation completes (before the logon appears), and they're using a VGA monitor attached to the card's DVI port using a DVI-to-VGA adapter, have them try a DVI monitor instead.  That appears to have been the problem all along, with this card and probably with the first card that I RMA'd.  Thank you again so much for your recommendations.  I didn't realize how frustrated I was over this until the frustration lifted a few minutes ago.
 
My system is now running well:  EVGA GTX 470, ASUS Sabertooth X58 motherboard, i7-970 Intel Gulftown 3.2GHz CPU, 24GB of RAM (two 12GB CT3KIT51264BA1339 kits from Crucial), Antec 1000W TPQ-1000 power supply, CoolerMaster Hyper212+ CPU cooler, CoolerMaster CM 690 II Advanced case, HP 2310m monitor.

Como ahorita no tengo acceso a un monitor DVI para probar ver si se soluciona como al amigo, estoy tratando de ver si se puede desabilitar el puerto HDMI para ver si se soluciona mi problema. Casualidad que tambien la mobo es asus ¿no? y segun he leido muchas personas con mobo asus am3 han tenido el mismo problema con la serie 400.

No se puede desahabilitar en la bios, a menos que fuera una salida integrada en la motherboard, y tengo mis dudas de que sea posible, porque el HDMI es plug and play, no funciona hasta que le conectas el cable.



Si aun asi se tira para hdmi al cargar windows deberias ver solamente el escritrio secundario, porque es cierto, la señal principal es la del HDMI, hasta que configuras eso en el panel de control de nvidia.


no se si sera posible que le conectes 2 monitores a la vez, el normal de siempre y el otro via HDMI, esto te permitira ver la señal principal y configurar como monitor primario el que usas por dvi con adaptador a vga.


a mi me da verg@ que si tengo conectado el tele por HDMI y no me fijo le manda la señal principal ahi y uno tonteando que no ve nada en la pantalla de la computadora. Pero si tenes suerte solo esta en esa configuracion la solucion a tu problema.
